Nigeria men’s senior national team head coach Eric Chelle has officially made two changes to his Super Eagles 23-man squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin Republic.
Chelle has been forced to make the changes due to injuries. The first change sees the Zaidu Sanusi stepping in to replace the injured Bright Osayi-Samuel. .
Meanwhile, the second adjustment involves Uche Christantus, who has been called up to take the place of Cyriel Dessers.

Nigeria will travel to take on Lesotho on October 10 before hosting Benin in their final qualifying fixture on October 14.
Chelle will be hoping that results go their way if they are to stand a chance of qualifying for next year’s tournament, following the three-point deduction handed to South Africa.
