Week 8 in the Eritrean Super Division was played this week as leaders Denden and Red Sea each took all three points. Denden maintained their unbeaten as they came out to defend their 2024 league crown.

The reigning champions needed to dig deep to pip Godayef 1-0. Nahom Awet struck the only goal of the match in the 81st minute to hand Denden a much deserved win.

Red Sea FC faced bitter rivals Asmara Brewery and won 3-1. The game gained much attention after Red Sea signed Asmara Brewery striker Abel Woldeyohannes and playmaker Mikael Habte in January.
