Ethiopian Coffee kept up their impressive form despite a two-week break in action from the Ethiopian Premier League which continued with its 20th round on Friday. Coffee now sit fourth following a win over Sihul Shire at the Adama Science and Technology Stadium.

Netsanet Kibre’s charges built on their good form to beat struggling side Sihul Shire 1-0. Ghanaian forward Konkoni Hafiz scored the solitary goal early in the first half. Hafiz headed home to finish up a brilliant counter attack goal from the Browns, leaving the Addis Ababa fourth with 29 points.

In another fixture from Friday, Wolwalo Adigrat University held Sidama Coffee to a one all draw. Habtamu Tadesse’s first half goal was cancelled out by Dawa Hotessa five minutes before time.

Adama Ketema ended their six-game winless run as they conquered Ethio Electric 2-0. Former Jimma Aba Jifar striker Ame Mohammed was the hero for the away side after bagging a brace.
