OGC Nice's co-Player of the Year winner Evann Guessand has been attracting interest from several European clubs. The Ivorian striker enjoyed a superb season at the southern France outfit, reaching a double-digit goal tally with 13 goals and 8 assists in all competitions.
Guessand is on the radar of clubs from England, Italy, Spain, and Türkiye. His time at Nice is now looking uncertain. Head coach Franck Haise has reportedly seemed doubtful about keeping his star striker, stating that the club should bring in new additions before selling a player while making it a priority to hold onto Guessand.
According to L’Équipe, Fenerbahçe is ready to submit a €25 million offer. Brighton & Hove Albion and AS Roma have also shown interest in the Ivory Coast international. According to Foot Mercato, UEFA Champions League-bound Villarreal has entered the race for Guessand’s signature.
Guessand, 22, is reportedly taking time to decide on his future. He has been at Nice for the last five seasons but spent two years on loan at Swiss side Lausanne-Sport as well as fellow French club Nantes.
