Ghana’s senior women's team attacking midfielder Evelyn Badu has made an upward step in her career following her move to Norwegian club, FK Molde.

The former Hasaacas Ladies player has signed a deal to join Molde from French top tier side Fleury 91 until the end of the 2025 league campaign.

It will be a return to the Scandinavian nation for the 22-year-old after her previous stint at Toppsirien side Avaldsnes. The move is a big step in her career as that will sharpen her skill ahead of the 2025 Africa Women’s Championship to be hosted in Morocco in July.

A statement from Molde manager, Erlend Holmlund said: "Considering Evelyn's young age, she has extensive experience throughout her time in the Toppserien with Avaldsnes and most recently in the French top division for FC Fleury 91."

"In addition to this, she has a number of international matches for Ghana's A-national team. As a player, we are getting an offensively-minded type who can play several different roles, with good technical skills," he added.

During her time with Alvadness, the Black Queens attacker made 47 appearances, scoring two goals. The versatile midfielder spent last season with Fleury 91 in France, where she made 13 appearances netting a goal for the club.
