Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Mogakolodi Ngele has signed for Botswana’s lower league team, Dinare FC. It is his ninth club in his professional football career.

“Dinare FC is proud to announce the signing of attacking midfielder, Mogakolodi ‘Tsotso’ from Township Rollers FC. The experienced playmaker has penned a two-year deal,” the club’s statement reads.

Ngele’s football career has seen him playing for South Africa’s SuperSport United, Chippa United, Platinum Stars, Bidvest Wits, Black Leopards and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandla.

The 34-year-old’s career in Botswana took him to Flamingo Santos and Township Rollers, where he had two stints before going to South Africa and after returning in 2022.

Meanwhile, Dinare continued their pre-season with a 4-1 loss to Gaborone United last Saturday in a warm-up match.

Coach Tomáš Trucha used the game to assess the fitness of his squad, including the new arrivals including Isaac Moyo who has joined from Jwaneng Galaxy Youth team.
