Amid rumors on the future of FC Nantes and Nigerian international winger Moses Simon, speculation continues on the next career move as his contract with the French club draws to an end. Former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has advised the winger to assess all options with growing interest from the English Premier League and Turkish Super Lig clubs.

Rohr highlighted Simon's impressive individual performance despite his team's struggles, praising his attitude and contributions on and off the pitch.

“Moses Simon is having a strong personal season despite being in a struggling team — 7 goals and 9 assists speak for themselves.”

He also described the 29-year-old as a coach's delight as he was impressed with the Nigerian's attitude and contribution on and off the pitch: “It’s no surprise that bigger clubs are watching him.”

"He’s hardworking, listens well, and always puts the team first. While he might not score 20 or 25 goals a season due to his role as a winger, his ability to both score and assist makes him crucial to any attack.”

Looking ahead, Rohr proposed that the English Premier League could be a suitable next step for the 28-year-old:

"England would be a good challenge. He speaks the language, and many Nigerian players have succeeded there. His pace, technical skills, and eye for goal make him a great fit for the Premier League."

The German also identified Olympique Marseille as a potential destination for the prolific winger, "OM would benefit from his signing, especially if they qualify for the Champions League. The schedule would be demanding, and a player like Simon could be key."

With reported interest from both the English Premier League and the Turkish Super Lig, Simon faces a pivotal decision.

Rohr's advice of a potential move to England, coupled with his suggestion of Olympique Marseille as another viable option, underscores the high regard in which the Super Eagles winger is valued.
