Africans Abroad: Ezzalzouli, Ekuban increase season’s tally, Samatta scores debut

African stars continued to glitter across various leagues as the European top flights inches to its embers.

Mbwana Samatta nets seasons debut for Le Havre

Performances of African players were awash the French Ligue with Tunisia left-back, Ali Abdi canceling Tanzani’s Mbwana Samatta’s opener during OG Nice and Le Havre’s 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Samatta shot Le Havre into the league with three minutes before half time and Abdi leveled for Nice in the 59th minute.

The 32-year-old Abdi has two goals in 18 games with Samatta netting his debut for Le Havre.
