Medeama SC will switch attention to the MTN FA Cup Round of 64 against Rospak on Wednesday November 26 after weeks of nerve-wracking Ghana Premier League actions.
The Mauve and Yellow will square off with their feeder club in an interesting fixture of Ghana’s cup competition at the Tarkwa TnA Park.
Head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko has expressed confidence in going past Rospak in order to book a slot in the round of 32.
“We want to move to the next round of the MTN FA Cup, and we are taking the training seriously, and everyone is on board. On Wednesday, we are ready to move to the next game,” Tanko told Medi TV.
The winner of the FA Cup qualifies for the CAF Confederation Cup and Medeama will want to return to the continental campaign via the same route, a journey they have embarked on twice in 2013 and 2015.
Medeama currently share the second position on the Ghana Premier League table on 22 points with Heart of Lions after 11 games into the current season.
