Tanzania Mainland Premier League giants Simba SC have confirmed the exit of two players –
Fabrice Ngoma, Valentin Nouma – in a bid to freshen up the squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Congolese midfielder Ngoma, who joined Simba with high expectations, already bid the Msimbazi Reds supporters with a short and clear message; “Thank You.”
Simba, who finished the season without silverware have taken to their social media pages to confirm the exit of Ngoma alongside the 24-year-old Burkinabe leftback Nouma, who signed for the club from DR Congo-based outfit St Eloi Lupopo.
For Nouma, who joined Simba in July 2024 on a three-year contract but has only served one year, the club reached an agreement for both parties to terminate the contract.
“We wish to confirm having reached an agreement with Ngoma that the club will not renew his contract that expires at the end of July. On the same note, the club can confirm reaching an amicable decision to let go defender Nouma,” read a statement released by Simba.
Simba went further to confirm the exit of long-serving goalkeeper Aishi Manula, who has already penned a two-year contract to return to former club Azam FC. He returned to the Chamazi-based club after serving the Msimbazi Reds for eight years.
Manula, who moved to Simba in 2017, was previously named the Best Goalkeeper of the Mainland Premier League five times, in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021.
He was named the Best Goalkeeper in the FA Cup tournament in 2021. In total, he joined Azam after winning a total of five Tanzania Premier League titles in 2014, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, and lifted the Federation Cup three times consecutively in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
