Cameroonian goalkeeper Fabrice Ondoa suffered relegation with his club, Rabotnicki Skopje following their 1-3 loss at Makedonija FK on Wednesday in North Macedonia’s top flight 1. MFL.
The 30-year-old, who joined Rabotnicki this year as a free agent after his contract with RFS of Latvia expired last year, was in post during their big loss, a result that dropped the Skopje club to the second tier 2. MFL.
The defeat at Makedonija left Ondoa’s club in 11th position on 13 points from 21 matches, 10 points behind the first playoff spot with one matchday left in the championship.

Fabrice Ondoa has struggled with form in the past years and he has only managed four appearances, conceding 13 goals with no clean sheet this season.
The Barcelona B graduate has previously played for Pobla de Mafumet CF, Sevilla Athletic, Gimnastic all in the Spanish league before signing for KV Oostende of Belgium in 2018.
The Yaoundé-born shot stopper went off the scene for some time due to injury before returning to sign for Alaves with other stints at Croatia’s FK Istra, FK Auda in Latvia and Nimes Olympique in France.
He was a giant in post when Cameroon lifted the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, making the Team of the Tournament. Ondoa, who won the Latvia top flight with Auda, has 53 caps for the five-time African champion Indomitable Lions.
