The 29-year-old took some time to share his joy after signing for SC Villa.
“I am loving everything here at Villa,” Matovu said. “The coaches have shown faith in me by giving me this opportunity, and I am ready to repay that trust. I am optimistic about playing here for the next two years.”
The veteran defender has previously played for several clubs, including KCCA FC, BUL FC, Express FC, and Kiyinda Boys FC, with his last club being UPPC.
SC Villa currently sit in second on the Uganda Premier League table with 34 points from 17 games, two behind leaders Viper who have played a game less.
