Reigning Tanzanian champions Young Africans will have an opportunity to complete back-to-back domestic doubles following Sunday's 2-0 semifinal victory over JKT Tanzania in the CRDB Bank Federation Cup.

Zimbabwean striker Prince Dube scored the opening goal just before halftime for Yanga, who continue to dominate all opponents in domestic play. Yanga have not lost to a Tanzanian opponent since early November when they suffered consecutive defeats to Azam FC and Tabora United in the NBC Premier League.

Mudathir Yahya scored late on to double Yanga's lead and clinch a place in the final, where they are likely to face eternal Dar es Salaam rivals Simba SC. Simba, who are taking part in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup final, will face Singida Black Stars in the other semifinal on May 31.

Yanga, who currently lead Simba by four points in the NBC Premier League with one more match played, now have a month-long break until they resume league action due to the upcoming FIFA window. The Citizens will face Simba in the Kariakoo Derby on June 15 in a title-deciding clash.
