Ghana striker Felix Afena-Gyan registered the only goal in the Turkish TFF 1 League week 27 as Amedspor defeated Vanspor 1-0 at home.
The 23-year-old’s strike deep into stoppage time handed Amedspor the dramatic victory over Vanspor on Monday.
Afena-Gyan, who spent close to five seasons in the Italian league, found the back of the net in the 94th minute as Amedspor continued their chase for the Super Lig promotion.
They currently sit third place on the league table with 54 points, two behind second placed Erokspor and three adrift of leaders Erzurumspor FK after 27 league games

Afena-Gyan’s late goal marked his third of the season with five assists in 24 games of the current campaign. He joined Amedspor on loan from Italian side Cremonese with the deal including an option to make it permanent.
He previously played for Serie A giants, AS Roma under Jose Mourinho and previous loan stint at Juventus Next Gen.
He has eight caps for Ghana and he played a key role in the Black Stars qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup but he was eventually dropped for the final squad for the tournament in Qatar.
