Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord have confirmed the departure of Ghana winger Ibrahim Osman back to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Osman officially returned to his parent club after he saw out his loan spell for the 2024/25 season. The 20-year-old former Nordsjaelland winger joined Feyenoord in the second half of the season but is now expected to re-join the English Premier League side Brighton ahead of pre-season for the upcoming campaign.

Feyenoord in a statement confirmed that Osman will leave alongside fellow loanees, Hugo Bueno and Facundo González.

"The loanees Hugo Bueno, Facundo González (whose option to buy in the loan agreement is not exercised), and Ibrahim Osman were addressed by head coach Robin van Persie and general manager Dennis te Kloese and thanked for their efforts and contribution to the team," the statement read.

"As a memento of their season in De Kuip, they received a beautiful, personal photo plate."

The club won the Johan Cruijff Shield, reached the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 and secured a third-place finish in the Eredivisie, earning qualification to the third preliminary round of next season’s Champions League.

Osman made 32 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing three assists. He will look to impress the Seagulls manager Fabian Hurzeler for a regular spot in the squad.
