FIFA President Gianni Infantino has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Moses Magogo Hassim following his re-election as President of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) for the 2025–2029 term.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Infantino wrote: “Congratulations Moses Magogo upon being re-elected as President of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations.”
Hon. Magogo secured another four-year term during FUFA’s 101st Ordinary General Assembly held on 5th July 2025 in Hoima.
In his acceptance remarks, Magogo thanked his administration and stakeholders for the milestones achieved, which he noted had made leading the federation appear seamless.
“I am proud to say that our administration has achieved numerous success stories, making FUFA leadership look effortless,” he said. Reflecting on the federation’s journey since 2013, Magogo highlighted how seemingly impossible goals have now become foundational elements of Ugandan football development.
“In 2013, certain things seemed impossible, but today they have become basic. Our success has been defined by the know-how we have acquired through training and experience, the hours we have dedicated to the game, the discipline we’ve maintained, and most importantly, our passion and the Will of God,” he emphasized.
Looking ahead, the re-elected president outlined priority areas for the new term including:
