FKF confirms proposed kick off dates for 2025/26 Kenyan leagues

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) have released a proposed calendar with kick off dates for all the leagues including the FKF Premier League for the 2025/26 season.

According to the statement, the FKF Premier League will kick off on Saturday, September 20, 2025 while the lower league, National Super League (NSL), will commence on September 13.

Below is the full statement from FKF;

The 2025/26 FKF National Super League is set to kick off on Saturday, 13th September 2025, ahead of the FKF Premier League which will begin a week later on Saturday, 20th September 2025.

The following proposed dates have been tabled for approval;

LEAGUES

– FKF National Super League: 13th September 2025

– FKF Premier League: 20th September 2025

– FKF Women’s Premier League: 27th September 2025

– FKF Division One (Men): 27th September 2025

– FKF Women’s Super League: 4th October 2025

– FKF Women’s Division One: 4th October 2025

COMPETITIONS

– FKF Super Cup: 13th September 2025

– FKF Women’s Super-Cup: 20th September 2025

– FKF Cup: 31st January 2026

– FKF Women’s Cup: 14th February 2026

The statement concluded: “It has further been proposed that all other leagues should commence no later than October 2025 and conclude by June 2026.”
