FKF Premier League: Mathare United acquire midfield lynchpin Peter Oudu

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League outfit Mathare United have announced the signing of midfielder Peter James Oudu on a two-and-half-year deal.


“The club is pleased to confirm the mid-season signing of Peter James Oudu from Posta Rangers. The defensive midfielder has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal,” read a statement seen by Pan-Africa Football.


“The Dagoretti High School alumnus links up with head coach John Kamau, whom he has briefly played under while at school and as a pro at Posta Rangers. At Posta, Oudu also shared a dressing room with Sammy Imbuye.


“Aside from Rangers, Oudu has also played for Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks, winning the FKFPL title with the former two seasons ago. Welcome to Mathare United Jatugo.”


The Slum Boys are currently sitting 14th in the 18-team league table with 21 points from 18 matches. They have managed five wins, six draws and suffered seven defeats.
