FKF Premier League: Tusker FC lose top scorer Ryam Ogam to surgery

Tusker FC have suffered a huge blow in their quest for the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League title after striker Ryam Ogam underwent surgery.

A statement on Tusker’s social media pages confirmed: “Wishing a quick recovery to our top scorer Ryan Wesley Ogam, who has undergone a minor procedure for a meniscus tear. Quick recovery Rayo, we can’t wait to have you back.”

Ogam last featured for Tusker in the 1-1 league draw against Shabana on February 26. He is currently the leading goal scorer in the Kenyan Premier League having found the back of the net 15 times.

He has been injured at a time Tusker are sitting second in the 18-team league table with 47 points from 25 matches. They are one point behind table leaders Kenya Police FC and five more than third-placed and record champions Gor Mahia.

Tusker will face Mara Sugar on Sunday.
