Former PSL winger finds new job in Botswana

Former South Africa’s Sekhukhune United star Joseph Letsema has found a new job in neighbouring Botswana’s FNB Premiership.

The exciting winger has joined Orapa United on a three-year contract after leaving Linare FC in the Lesotho Premier League. Orapa confirmed the development via a statement.

“We are thrilled to announce the signing of Teboho Joseph ‘Nyaope’ Letsema on a 3-years contract with the ostriches,” reads the statement.

“The iconic and speedy winger has previously played for Sekhukhune united FC, Upington City FC and Linare FC.”

How Letsema found himself at Sekhukhune United

The Lesotho international signed for Sekhukhune United in 2024 on a two-year contract. However, he did not stay long with the PSL side due to stiff competition for playing positions.

The winger rejoined his homeland club Linare FC in the Lesotho Premier League in 2025 before being lured by the Ostriches.

The 23-year-old is expected to add dynamism to the attack of Orapa United who occupy ninth place in the FNB Premiership table.
