Ghana international Forson Amankwah saved the day for Norwich City in the English Championship, scoring the winning goal in their victory over Sheffield United.
Norwich City fought from behind to defeat Sheffield United 2-1 in their Round 37 fixture at the Carrow Road on Wednesday.

Sheffield United silenced the home crowd with the opener when Jairo Riedewald shot them ahead in the 21st minute.
Riedewald received a clever pass inside the Norwich area before blasting past Sheffield keeper Vladan Kovacevic. The solitary lead separated the two sides into the half time break.
Both sides tested each other until the 68th minute when Norwich pulled level from Jack Stacey’s header from a corner kick into Sheffield’s near post.
Forson Amankwah, 23, came on in the 81st minute to replace Ali Ahmed before pulling off the winner curling in Paris Maghoma’s perfect assist three minutes after coming onto the pitch.
Amankwah’s winning goal was his second in 12 league games after struggling with injuries. The two time capped Ghana international will hope to keep his form in order to earn a spot in for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The victory on Wednesday has propelled Norwich City to the 15th position in the English Championship.
