Making only his second appearance for the Sky Blues, the Super Eagles midfielder’s presence was felt throughout the match; he was instrumental in the midfield dominance of Frank Lampard’s side.
Ephron Mason-Clark and Jack Rudoni provided the goals for the visitors to secure the three points.
It was Coventry City’s first away victory in the Championship since November 25, marking a significant turning point for the club as the push for a move to the Premier League.
