Nigerian international and Club Brugge forward Raphael Onyedika reportedly remains on the transfer shortlist of German Bundsliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to German newspaper Bild, the midfielder is still highly regarded as a prime candidate to bolster their squad.
Frankfurt plan at least three major signings in the coming transfer windows, and a defensive midfielder is a priority.
Onyedika, known for his dynamic play, strong tackling, and impressive work rate, perfectly aligns with the profile the German club is seeking.
His ability to break up play, shield the defense, and initiate attacks makes him an attractive prospect for Die Adler.
The transfer fee of the 24 year-old is estimated at over 20 million euros. While Onyedika is a primary target, Eintracht Frankfurt is also exploring alternative options to ensure they secure the right player for the role.
Among the other midfielders under consideration are Sergi Altimira from La Liga side Real Betis and Vitaly Janelt of Premier League club Brentford FC.
