The stage is set for the much-anticipated draw of the sixth edition of the FUFA Women’s Cup, scheduled to take place on Wednesday morning, February 26, 2025, at FUFA House in Mengo.
With 32 teams confirmed, the draw will be aired live on FUFA TV as teams eagerly wait to learn their first-round opponents.
In preparation for the draw, the teams have been grouped into two pots:
Pot A: Comprises all 12 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League teams and the top two teams from each of the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League groups (4 teams).
Pot B: Consists of the remaining 10 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League teams and 6 regional teams.
Defending champions She Corporate FC will be aiming to retain their title after edging Rines SS WFC 5-4 on penalties in last year’s final following a goalless draw in normal time.
It should be noted that the competition did not take place in 2020, 2021, and 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
