President of Galatasaray SK is Dursun Özbek, has been reported to be confident that Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen will still be with them after this summer, admist Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal temptig offer and reported interests by other Europe’s top clubs for the striker.

Osimhen forced a loan move to the Turkish side during the 2024 summer transfer window after falling out of favour with Italian champions Napoli.

Fotomac journalist Zeki Uzundurukan said the Galatasaray President told him they have already begun negotiations with Napoli for Osimhen and there is now “70%’” chance he will stay at the Turkish double champions.

Uzundurukan reported saying that President Özbek confirmed the Nigerian’s willingness to stay in Turkey.

“Osimhen wants to stay at Galatasaray, he feels reborn here. Negotiations between Napoli and Galatasaray are underway. The offer is good and there is 70% chance he can stay,” he said.

Adding that, the Galatasaray President also said Al Hilal life-changing offer of over 40 Million Euros a-year is complicatedas all eyes are on the deal.

“Victor’s transfer to Saudi Arabia is not as simple as it seems. Al Hilal cannot give 40 Million Euros to a player out of the blues. The federation is monitoring this deal.”

He further dismissed links to tope European clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and Juventus are not true. “There are no offers from Europe. The news about Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United are lies.”

Osimhen round his stint at Galatasaray SK on a high as he won the domestic double and also was named the highest goal scorer in the league. After falling out of favour in Napoli the lethal striker is set to find a new club where he calls home.
