Rwanda Premier League outfit Gasogi United have named Charles Ayiekoh Lukula as their new head coach, with the experienced Ugandan tactician taking over with immediate effect.
Ayiekoh steps into the role following the departure of Sacha Dusange and will be assisted by fellow Ugandan Danny Kirumira as his deputy, as the Kigali-based club looks to steady its campaign.

The former Busoga United coach arrives with a wealth of experience across both men’s and women’s football.
Over the years, Ayiekoh has handled a number of sides including Bunamwaya (now Vipers SC), Police FC, Maroons FC, Soana FC, Kirinya JSS, Nyamityobora, Water, Wandegeya and MUBS.
He has also left his mark in the women’s game with Kampala Queens, Simba Queens, She Corporate and the Uganda Crested Cranes.
Gasogi United currently sit 10th on the Rwanda Premier League standings with 22 points from 17 matches and will be hoping the new technical team sparks an upturn in results during the second half of the season.
Off the pitch, the club has been active in the transfer market, recently completing the signing of former Express FC defender Derrick Ngobi on a two-year deal.
Former SC Villa and Gaddafi FC striker Faizo Kazibwe is already on the books, while talks are ongoing to bring in ex-BUL FC forward Douglas Owori to further bolster the squad.
