Ghana: Aduana attacker Benjamin Tsivanyo revels in debut brace

Ghana youth international, Benjamin Tsivanyo has given a positive assessment of his performance in Aduana FC win at All Blacks in match week 20 of the Ghana Premier League.

The 19-year-old who joined Aduana for the rest of the season, bagged a brace as the two time champions raced to a 2-0 win at the Premier League returnees last Sunday.

The victory pushed Aduana into second on the league table with 35 points, level with Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko and seven behind leaders Medeama SC.

Benjamin Tsivanyo said: “We trained so hard this week in order to get the three points because we need the three points to win the league so it was necessary we claimed it, we worked so hard and it paid off.”

Tsivanyo, who previously played for the defunct Nsoatreman and Ghana’s U-17 men’s team, gave rave reviews about his performance, citing the need to still improve.

“My performance was amazing, it was insane because I didn’t think of it. Football is our profession and the Ghana Premier League is of high standard but there is more room for improvement so I am not comfortable [and] I need to do more.”

The former Great Olympics forward is expected to continue his exploits for the Dormaa based club who are chasing their third Ghana Premier League trophy. Their next fixture is against Samartex at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday, February 1.
