Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Karim Zito has admitted that, the absence of top striker, Albert Amoah affected his tactics at Nations FC.
Amoah missed out on the Nations trip after picking a knock from a harsh tackle in Kotoko’s 2-0 outstanding win over reigning champions, Gold Stars last Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors had to rely on Guinean import, Morifing Donzo who fired blanks against Nations FC in week five at the Dr Kyei Complex on Saturday.
Kotoko coach Karim Zito first reacted to the team’s performance after the goalless draw.
“We all did well, we all came with an attitude of wanting to win but the unfortunate side of our story is the field wasn’t conducive for us to exhibit the nice football we wanted to play.
“So both teams resorted to long passes to be able to play and that is what marred the beauty of the game but apart from that I’m ok.
“Seriously I’m also affected by the absence of [Albert] Amoah today but we are preparing him for Wydad [Athleric Club] game.”
Kotoko now go on eight points from four games with an outstanding fixture against Holy Stars to clear later in the week before shifting focus to the CAF Confederation Cup against Morocco giants, Wydad Athletic Club in Accra.
