All Blacks collected their first win in five away matches following a 3-2 win over Dreams fc in a week 11 Ghana Premier League fixture at the Legon Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The top flight returnees shot themselves ahead in the 22nd minute with Rudolf Mensah but Dreams responded with Seidu Suraj’s 26th minute penalty kick.
All Blacks found the equalizer from the boot of left-back Aziz Adam’s thundering long range strike just on the stroke of half-time after Yaovi Chris Guede had put Dreams ahead in the 39th minute.
Benjamin Adjei’s second goal helped All Blacks claim all three points and head coach of the club, Ahmed Fathy reacted to the memorable result.
“A lot of congratulations to my players, they are warriors, and they worked so hard, and this is the result. For me, it’s great. It’s been a long time since we could not win away, and today we have done it. I hope it will continue like this,” Ahmed Fathy said.
Head coach of Dreams fc, Winfred Dormon was left disappointed with the defeat.
“It is very disappointing, to be honest. This is not the kind of game we expected the players to play. It’s unfortunate that our goalkeeper made some schoolboy errors and gave away three goals. We tried to respond, did some tactical adjustments, but, unfortunately, individual errors have cost us,” the Dreams FC coach said.
The win shot All Blacks into 12th on the league log with 11 points and Dreams fc remained in 13th on the same points as All Blacks after 11 games played.
