Experienced Ghanaian coach Kassim Mingle has been appointed as the new head coach of All Blacks.

Kassim Mingle, whose previous works include stints at Bechem United and recently Nations FC, replaces Egyptian Ahmed Fathi.

Swedru All Blacks announced the appointment of Kassim Mingle Ocansey as their new head coach on their social media platform with a statement saying: “We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kasim Mingle as the head coach of the club till the end of the season,” the club said.

“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kasim Mingle as the head coach of the club till the end of the season.

Kasim Mingle brings on board a wealth of experience, strong leadership qualities, and a proven track record in Ghanaian football.

“Known for his tactical discipline, player development skills, and winning mentality, his appointment marks a significant step in the club’s long-term vision of building a competitive and sustainable team.

“The club’s management is confident that Coach Mingle’s philosophy aligns perfectly with the values and ambitions of Swedru All Blacks, as we continue our quest for growth, consistency, and success both on and off the pitch.

“Management, players, and supporters are encouraged to give the new Head Coach their maximum support as he begins this new chapter with the club. We officially welcome Kasim Mingle to the Swedru All Blacks family and wish him every success in his role.” The statement read.

Kassim Mingle is expected to map out a strategy that would keep the premier league returnees in the top flight.

The devout Muslim recently led a domestic based Ghana team to an international friendly against South Africa where the Black Galaxies lost 1-0 in Bafana Bafana’s pre-AFCON exercise.

Kassim Mingle’s appointment comes after Swedru All Blacks officially announced the departure of Ahmed Fathi and his assistant Mohammed Adily.

“Swedru All Blacks United Football Club wishes to officially announce that the club has mutually parted ways with Head Coach 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢 𝐈𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐦 and Video Analyst 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐲 due to health-related reasons,” the club said on Tuesday.

Swedru All Blacks currently sit 11th in the Ghana Premier League table with 24 points from 20 league matches. They will next face reigning champions GoldStars in week 21 at the Duns Park on Sunday, February 1.
