Benjamin Bernard Boateng joins Lebanese outfit Nejmeh SC

Ghana forward, Benjamin Bernard Boateng has signed for Lebanese topflight club, Nejmeh Sporting Club ahead of the 2025/26 premier league season.

The 24-year-old was a household name in the Ghana Premier League while at the now relegated Elmina Shark between 2017 and 2021 where he collected 43 games with 15 goals before transferring to Egypt.

Benjamin Boateng completed a move to Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club in 2021 where he collected 29 games, scoring 6 goals. He has spent time at Smouha and Al Ansar of Libya on loan, recording 13 appearances and scoring 2 goals.

After a brief stint in the Libyan topflight earlier this year, the Ghanaian winger has now opted for a fresh challenge in Lebanon, signing for Nejmeh, popularly known as the Star Club.

The Beirut-based outfit is regarded as one of the most successful and passionate clubs in Lebanese football finishing fourth last season with 32 points from 26 matches.
