Medeama SC forward Nana Kofi Babil has admitted that their fixtures against Berekum Chelsea have always been difficult.
The Mauve and Yellow will host the Berekum Blues at the Tarkwa TnA Park in week 13 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday with the aim of keeping the joint top spot alongside Aduana and Heart of Lions intact or go points above.
Babil who has played seven matches with a goal to his credit this campaign, first reacted to their 2-2 draw against Asante Kotoko in week 12 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
“We have learnt from the Kotoko game and against Berekum Chelsea [it’s going to be tough]. They season we won the league, they came to beat us in Tarkwa,” Nana Kofi Babil told MEDi TV.S
“Any time Berekum Chelsea comes to our home ground, it’s always a tough game. Coach Samuel Boadu knows us very well but we will do our best and claim the maximum points.”
“We need the fans’ energy to make life difficult for the opponent and we the players will do our best to make sure we get the needed victory.
