Former Ghana youth international Bless Ege has promised to work hard to sign a permanent contract at Mexican club Queretaro.
The 19-year-old has joined the Liga MX side on loan from Ghana Premier League club Karela United where he was a mainstay in coach Amadu Nurudeen’s squad.
Bless Ege played fifteen matches, scoring four goals before departing for the North American nation and he expressed his readiness to give his all.
He said: “I have to work hard to stay because this is what every footballer wants and once you are given a good opportunity you need to make good use of it so I am going I need to give my one hundred percent to make sure I stay,” Bless Ege told Mo TV.
“My expectations are going there to do what I know how to do best and I believe that in a few years I should be called into the senior national team. I want to play for the senior team.
“Coming from Division One to the premier league is a new beginning and I am glad I have four goals in sixteen matches. It wasn’t bad, it was a new experience and you know in Ghana it is very difficult in the premier league so I am ok,” Bless Ege said.
Bless Ege was a key member of Ghana Division One League club Golden Kick who reached the finals of last season’s MTN FA Cup where they eventually lost to Asante Kotoko by 2-1.
He played a role in Ghana’s U-20 side that placed third at the 2025 WAFU ZONE B U-20 Tournament hosted at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Ghana.
