Ghana captain, Andre Ayew rose to the occasion for Ligue 1 club, Le Havre in their away clash to Angers over the weekend.

The nation’s most capped player continued his scoring run in 2025 with his third of the season as Le Havre picked an important away point following a 1-1 draw at Angers.

The visitors were on the verge of securing their first win of the year after Ayew broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute. However, a 90th-minute goal from Florent Hanin salvaged a point for the hosts at the Stade Raymond Kopa.

Ayew has been a key figure at the Ligue 1 strugglers, with his goals keeping their hopes of survival alive. The 35-year-old's first goal of the season came against former club Olympique Marseille before adding his second a week later against RC Lens.

Having joined the club in October last year after five months without a team, the veteran took a bit of time to hit his strides.

Ayew has featured 13 times in Ligue 1 this season and has now scored three times.
