Head coach of Dreams fc Winfred Dormon has expressed disappointment over their 1-0 loss at Asante Kotoko in match day 14 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The “Still Believe Boys” held their guns in the first and the dying embers of the second half but lost grip of their resilience to concede in the 80th minute mark.
Lord Amoah’s free kick was poorly dealt with by an array of Dreams fc defenders with substitute, Kame Opoku capitalizing to score the only goal of the game at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Winfred Dormon shared some thoughts after the game: “It is very disappointing, very heartbreaking to be honest. We started this first half, we decided to contain them on a quick transition and we had three to four chances in the first half,” Winfred Dormon said.
“During the second half Kotoko also had some chances to be fair but we started very well. Then the free came, we didn’t defend the lines very well.”
The defeat plunged Dreams fc into the relegation zone, sitting in 16th with 14 points from 14 matches in the current campaign.
The matchday 14 fixture between Bibiani Gold Stars and Medeama has been postponed following Medeama’s release of five players to the domestic-based Ghana national team for their international friendly against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana on December 16.
