Ghana FA signs partnership deal with Wales Football Association

The Ghana Football Association [GFA] has brokered a mouthwatering partnership deal with the Football Association of Wales [FAW].

The agreement geared towards strengthening coach development, sharing football knowledge and exploring long-term paths of cooperation between both countries.

The President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku and FAW Chief Executive Noel Mooney and Chief Football Officer Dr David Adams signed the agreement during high-level discussions at the FAW’s headquarters in Hensol.

The partnership will see Ghanaian coaches hone their skills

The collaboration will provide opportunities for both countries to explore chances of future international friendlies at youth and senior levels.

Ghana’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup comes in handy for some technical staff of the senior national team to undertake refresher courses to sharpen their mindset ahead of the global football showpiece.

Ghanaian coaches at the lower level will not be exempted with some carefully selected ones having a chances to hone their skills in a tailored technical progammes
