The Ghana Football Association, (GFA), has effected key changes in the national team coaches – an exercise that seeks to strengthen focus across the selected national teams.

Coach Desmond Ofei, who currently doubles as Head Coach of the Black Satellites [U-20] as well as Assistant Coach to Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo, will focus exclusively on the Black Stars.

Similarly, Coach Charles Sampson, Head Coach of the Black Princesses [Women U-20], will step aside from his additional role as Assistant Coach of the Black Queens, to focus on the Princesses with immediate effect.

These strategic adjustments are part of the GFA’s commitment to ensuring a stronger focus on individual team mandates, preventing scheduling overlaps and role duplication, and enhancing technical preparation and consistency across all levels.

The Association believes that this move will empower each coach to dedicate their expertise and energy fully to the development and progress of their assigned teams, ultimately contributing to Ghana’s long-term football success.
