Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Gold Stars are set to welcome Karela United to the Duns Park in Bibiani in a tough week 10 fixture on Sunday.
Gold Stars have regained their mojo since their CAF Champions League setback where they suffered a 7-0 aggregate loss against Algeria’s JS Kabylie in the first preliminary round.
The Miners were pegged back last weekend where they lost 2-0 at Basake Holy Stars but the club’s striker Prince Opoku Agyemang believes the team must recover from that obstacle against Karela United.
“Last week we went away and we lost 2-0 I think the boys and management and the playing body are ready that is Sunday’s game we give it to the supporters.
“So that they cheer up because last week it didn’t go well so this week we are going 100% to win the match.” Prince Kwabena Owusu told GoldStars TV.
Gold Stars have 16 points from nine matches, scoring 10 goals and conceding 11 times this campaign in fourth on the same points as Hearts of Oak and Samartex.
