Ghana Premier League: “Hearts of Oak is still in transition” – Didi Dramani

Hearts of Oak produced one of the finest performances in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season despite holding Aduana FC to a goalless draw at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday.

The Phobians showed grit, creating a number of clear cut scoring chances but the attackers lacked the final cut in Aduana’s area.

Hearts of Oak had come from a 1-0 home victory against Nations FC and were looking to add the two time champions to their casualty list but they fluffed the opportunity several times.

Hearts of Oak coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani shared his thoughts on the game.

Hearts of Oak are ye to beat Aduana in five seasons

“It’s a difficult ground but we had come here to contest for the three points [and] I think that we deserved the three points and not just a single point,” Didi Dramani said after the game.

“I think that we controlled their transitions and then we kept our game and our identity to be more of in our position and the in terms of how we are able to press and not allowing them to play [because] potentially they don’t play from the back, they will do a long one and so we were dealing with the second balls.

“We have not reached yet in so many aspects, especially in the area of decision making in the final third.

Hearts of Oak per the draw have now accumulated 25 points same as reigning champions Gold Stars with two games to end the first half of the Ghana Premier League season.
