Hearts of Oak have a chance to close in on the league summit when they travel to the Tarkwa TnA Park as guests of Medeama SC in match week 17 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, January 4.
The Phobians have picked seven points from their last three games ahead of their trip to the Western region of Ghana, a feat head coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani is looking to continue.
“We need to continue to do the right things, we need to continue to keep our consistency. I think that we are envisaging a very tough encounter, we are envisaging a very swift attacking play from Medeama and we need to be able to play smart and play cleverly and manage situations when we don’t have the ball and when we have the ball,” Didi Dramani said.
Mas Dramani has urged the club’s to remain positive as the first half of the season comes to an end at the weekend.
“I think that positivity should be our hallmark, we need to align and we need to believe in what we are trying to build and the fans should constantly keep supporting our club and I wish them a very happy new year of hope.”
Hearts of Oak posted 1-0 victories against Nations FC and Samartex with a goalless draw Aduana in the last three matches and a win over Medeama will see them go on 31 points. They currently sit in 5th on 28 points from 16 matches.
