Hearts of Oak’s unbeaten streak will be put to the test when they welcome reigning champions Gold Stars in week seven of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday in Accra.
The Phobians have gathered 12 points from seven games and are yet to taste a defeat in the current campaign as they host Gold Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium, a game head coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani calls for an improved performance from his charges.
“All that we have to continuously do is to try to improve in various aspects of our play and also improve individual players so that we can have a comprehensive and a consolidated team,” Didi Dramani told Hearts of Oak TV.
“I think that we have many aspects that are getting better and that is part of our team structure and there is still a lot to improve, coordination and also the decision making in the last third.
“We are still an improving team and we will continue to improve on both the team structure and also our individual qualities that we have.”
Hearts of Oak striker Prince Kwabena Owusu is brimming with confidence ahead of the clash against his former club.
“I think the confidence level is very high because going to pick three points at Berekum Chelsea by 2-0, all the players and the technical staff everybody’s confidence is very high,” Owusu told Hearts of Oak TV.
“I think we are on a mission as we decided [that] this game is very important for our supporters and for the team [and] we are still working on our goal scoring and you could see that in Berekum we scored two goals.”
“The feeling was great from Berekum to Accra and until now and it was all about going to Berekum to win and the last home match we drew so this match is very important for us.”
