Ghana Premier League: “Hearts of Oak will make amends after Kotoko loss” – Didi Dramani

Hearts of Oak tasted their first defeat this season and it came against no other club than their sworn rivals Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.

Prior to the week nine Ghana Premier League fixture, both Hearts and Kotoko had not experienced a loss but Kotoko defied the odds to silence their opponent.

Guinean import, Morifing Donzo scored from the spot late into the first half, giving Kotoko two straight wins after they had swatted aside Karela United by 4-2 in week eight at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Hearts of Oak’s first defeat of the season left its following in despair as it became their sixth in their last twelve home games against Kotoko.

However head coach, Mas Ud Didi Dramani has urged the fans to stay calm as the technical team work around the clock to make amends.

Ghana Premier League is a marathon season

“Everything is just treated with the attention it needs and this one is just of it, it’s a marathon season [and] I think that we will make amends,” Didi Dramani said.

The Phobians share 16 points with Samartex and GoldStars in fourth position, two behind Heart of Lions and Medeama and three adrift of leaders Aduana FC.
