Ghana Premier League: Hohoe United’s Francis Odoom sets survival target

Hohoe United midfielder Francis Odoom is still in a celebratory mood after their important 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in match day 13 of the Ghana Premier League last weekend.

William Oduro’s sublime first half free kick stunned Asante Kotoko, shooting Hohoe United steps away from the drop zone.

Francis Odoom was adjudged Man-of-the-Match and he opened up on how the win against Kotoko has boosted their confidence for their subsequent games.

Beating Kotoko has boosted Hohoe United’s confidence

“It has boosted our confidence greatly because we won the week before at Bechem United and it is not easy to win at Bechem United,” Francis Odoom.

“If we managed to pick three points away, then we should not make mistakes at home and so that was our motivation that Kotoko must definitely fall at our home ground.
