Hearts of Oak defender Kelvin Osei Asibey has expressed concerns about their inconsistent performance in the current Ghana Premier League campaign.
The millennium champions have been far from impressive, suffering a 2-0 loss at Karela United in week 13 last weekend.
The Phobians have a tall order in week 14 when they host a rejuvenated Nations FC who fought from a goal down to beat third placed Heart of Lions 2-1 and Kelvin Osei Asibey has shared some thoughts on the game.
“We the players are not ok as well as the supporters concerning the two defeats that we have received but all the same that is how the game is going to be sometimes. Sometimes you lose the game, sometimes you win the game and sometimes you draw the game,” Kelvin Osei Asibey told Hearts TV.
“All the same we are focusing on our next game and we are playing match after match so we forget about what has happened in our previous games and focus on the next game and we are going to do our maximum best to turn things around to make the supporters happy.”
The game between Hearts of Oak and Nations FC will be held at the Legon Sports Stadium. Hearts of Oak share 21 points with Asante Kotoko and Samartex in 5th with Nations FC sitting in 11th on 16 points from 13 games.
The match day 14 fixture between Bibiani Gold Stars and Medeama has been postponed following Medeama’s release of five players to the senior team B for their international friendly against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana on December 16.
