Head coach of Ghana’s senior female team, Kim Lars Björkegren, has released a 24-player squad for the upcoming international friendly against England.
The Black Queens will square off with the Lionesses with coach Bjorkegren in search of new faces to augment his squad ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The squad blends experienced players with young talent, with Anasthesia Achiaa returning to strengthen the defense and Benedictè Simon of Servette Geneve FC earning a debut call-up.
Ghana won bronze at the last Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and they have already booked their place in the next competition after whitewashing Egypt by a 7-0 aggregate score line.
The squad retains number one goalkeeper, Cynthia Konlan Fiindub as well as Chantelle-Boye Hlorkah for the friendly that will be played on December 2.
