Samba O’neil admits to Hearts of Oak’s qualities

“As you know Hearts of Oak is a strong side [and] the game was not easy but we were very determined to win the game,” Samba O’neil said in a post-match press conference.

“When you play Hearts of Oak it’s a tough game [so] so you don’t need someone to tell you that you have to go and play well.

“You need to be focused and push yourself and so I will take this opportunity to tell them [fans] to be behind us.
“We are taking it game by game and we are celebrating the win against our rival and they [fans] should continue to be behind us.”

The victory is Kotoko’s second straight after making light work of Karela United in a 4-2 win at the Baba Yara Stadium in week eight.
