Ghana Premier League: Kotoko coach Karim Zito vows to stop Nations FC

Asante Kotoko have a daunting task in week five of the Ghana Premier League when they travel to Nations FC.

The reigning FA Cup winners will square off against Nations, a side they have struggled to beat in four attempts in a local derby on Saturday at the Dr Kyei Complex.

The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Abdul Karim Zito, has indicated that it is time for the side to end their winless run against Nations FC in the Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko’s only aim is to win the league title

“I have said it before, Kotoko doesn’t need any other position aside from winning the league. We have set the target of winning the league, and any opponent we are going to meet, we will go all out to win. If it turns the other way, it’s part of the game. So that’s our mentality.

“We want to beat the record that Kotoko has never beaten them. So, we are going all out to meet them to come out victorious,” Karim Zito told AKSC Media.

The Week 5 encounter between Nations FC and Asante Kotoko will be played on Saturday, October 11.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
