Heart of Lions have posted one of the best performances in the Ghana Premier League, holding record title holders Asante Kotoko to a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
The result ensured that the Kpando based club chalked a one hundred percent performance in four games this campaign and are on top of the table with 10 points.
Their blazing performance in the four outings has impressed head coach, Bashir Hayford and he spoke after their goalless draw against Asante Kotoko in Week Four.
“It was a very hard-fought match, and we split the points; it is okay for me.
“It is not even [about staying at] the top, it is the unbeaten for the four matches [that we’ve played so far]. It speaks volumes, so I like it that way,” he said.
Heart of Lions will battle Hearts of Oak, who are also unbeaten in the ongoing campaign in the Matchday five at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12.
