Medeama SC defender, Kamaradini Mamudu has admitted that their week nine Ghana Premier League fixture against Aduana FC will be a tough one as Dormaa is one of the difficult venues to pick up three points.
The Mauve and Yellow have recorded just one loss on the road to collecting 17 points in eight matches, one behind leaders and their next opponent, Aduana FC on Saturday at 3:30 GMT.
Kamaradini, who has been a mainstay for Medeama as a right-back in this campaign believes that Medeama is ready to scale the mountainous task.
“Dormaa is one of the toughest venues in the Ghana Premier League but we will go there and get at least a point or three,” Kamaradini Mamudu told MEDi TV.
“My mentality is very tough and when I am on the pitch I see myself different from all the players because I know until the whistle goes, we have not lost a game.
Head coach of the club, Ibrahim Tanko has managed to turn things around for the club so far since joining them from the relegated Accra Lions last season.
Head coach of Aduana FC, Cioaba Aristica will look to keep the top spot but knows the challenge will be tough to deal with.
“I respect the Medeama team, it’s one team that is good and they fight for the title every season. They have a good team and a very good coach but here in Dormaa I don’t like giving any team the chance to collect the three points,” Cioaba Aristica.
“For me the mentality of the players is the same, they need to fight on the pitch and not lose the game and many a times Aduana and Medeama fight every season and it’s going to be the same.”
The opening game of week nine saw Nations FC fight from a goal down to draw 1-1 at home to newly promoted side, Hohoe United on Friday with Ati Sena opening the score for the new boys and Emmanuel Annor pulling level for Nations FC at the Dr. Kyei Sports Complex.
