Ghana Premier League: Nation FC’s Frimpong Manso aims to deepen Hearts of Oak’s struggles

Nations FC will target a second straight win when they travel down south against crisis stricken Hearts of Oak in match day 14 of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday, December 13.

Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso’s charges produced a superlative performance in the previous week, fighting from a goal down to beat title contenders Heart of Lions 2-1 at the Dr. Kyei Stadium.

Ahead of the game against Heart of Oak who suffered 2-0 loss at Karela United last weekend, coach Frimpong Manso knows the challenge that awaits his side at the Legon Sports Stadium.

Nations FC rallied from a goal to beat Heart of Lions

“In this league even if you are playing against the bottom club you cannot say it is going to be easy [and] of course we know Hearts of Oak, they are a strong side, they are one of the very good side’s in the league,” Frimpong Manso said after their 2-1 comeback win over Heart of Lions.

“But in Accra we know it’s a bit open so if you psyche your players well to go and play to your game plan, you can also get the result.”

Nations FC have collected four victories, four losses and five defeats with 16 points in 11th after 13 matches this season.
